I couldn’t put down this book... I thought about it in between reads... I got anxious for what was going to happen... I had images for all the characters in my mind. The writing is superb and the story is jarring. The author points out that this is a work of fiction, but the messages she is trying to portray are so obvious and it’s timing is relevant. I congratulate her on all the work she must have put into this to convey the story, especially not being a native of Mexico. It’s a story showing humanity in all its states - and a new top favorite for me!
