I thought this movie was going to be a biographical type vehicle. While the story about the writer was a poignant one at times it became a bit darker than I expected in a movie about Mr. Rogers. I think that's the problem the movie is really not about Mr. Rogers. Dramatically it's very well done and Tom Hanks is amazing in the film as well as the other supporting actors. Just don't go to see it if you think it's in the genre of Rocketman and Bohemian Rhapsody as it's really not about Mr. Rogers and his life.
