Clap it up for the costume designer but that's all we should be clapping for. This movie somehow manages to have very few laugh out loud moments despite having 600 thousand comedians making cameos. The acting is meh, the dialog is meh and the plot is a predictable, overused and tired trope. It lacks the charm of the first film and the story is written so lazy and rushed. Save yourself time and the greater memories of your younger years and pass.

It's shot so beautifully and has soooo much potential but feels very disjointed. The show is centered around black characters yet they get all their magic and protection from white people. Make it make sense. I watch each episode in hope it will redeem the last except that never happena.
