Just so wildly boring, I found myself checking my watch more than a few times. It was incredibly predictable so when the "twist" finally happens all I could think was, DUH. The film spends it's time showing us that Oliver may be a bit sinister and then SURPRISE he is! There is no character arc for anyone in this film, they start the movie tedious, pretentious, and tortured and end the same way. Don't get me started on the 4:3 aspect ratio, just so unnecessary.

Go read Hannah G.'s review, it's just so spot on. This movie had so much potential and the writing just became garage about halfway through. She didn't "own" the men in this movie, the mob wouldn't have been so convoluted in killing her and her girlfriend, literally no payoff whatsoever. The first half of this movie I remember thinking, wow the cinematography is great, acting and writing is great. But when the lawyer steps foot in her office and the lighting is horrid I should have realized how that would be a precursor for the writing taking a turn for the worst.
