Except a bunch of coincidences that were created for the flow of telling the story, the movie itself is flawless and a perfect execution of a crime thriller telling the story of a serial killer in a convincing manner. There were a couple of scenes that could scare you to the verge of the seat. The hero and the villain played well and the cat and mouse game becomes more interesting with the element of magic the villain had mastered.

To feel back your school days and the love you failed to express, then 96 is a perfect frame. Place yourself in the backdrop and enjoy the nostalgia. First half is excellent and the school sequences are good as well. Second half is where both hero and heroine gets their best to perform and is good as well except for the part that a story to be told in 45 mins had taken twice it's time and bit lagging. The part where Trisha narrates her imaginary version of the real story where the theme music crawls in is the best part . A movie worth watch for 90s kids and for those who live with scars of an untold live.
