In Superman Returns (2006), Superman returns after years away only to find Lois Lane has moved on with her life, she has a partner and a child. Instead of respecting her new life, Superman lingers in the background, watching from a distance, and even tries to step back into her world. This undermines the strength of his character. A true hero doesn’t chase someone else’s wife or disrupt a family. Superman is supposed to embody honor, restraint, and virtue yet here, he comes across as needy and selfish, unable to let go.

I’m honestly speechless what a movie! The performances by Madhuri, Anil, and Danny Denzongpa, Om Puri were absolutely phenomenal. I haven’t seen such pure and powerful acting in a long time.
