First two episodes were epic television. I love Dracula. Books, TV, movies... and Claes Bang more than holds his own, recalling the style of Christopher Lee but making it very much his own. Some of the departures from the original story are interesting and welcome and not overdone... until the third episode. And that’s where it ended for me. Dracula in modern day. It just went from different than everything else on TV to the same as everything else on TV. What a gimmicky disappointment. What are writers thinking anymore? Lazy.
