First off, the movie starts out with a pretty slow roll. There's a crime that sets the tone, then cuts to the police trying to solve an ongoing case. It builds a little from there, then actually manages to grab your attention. This is all for nothing however because the director decides throw in a pretty useless plot twist that disarms the entire movie and changes its direction with not even 15 minutes left to spare. You're then left sitting there with your empty bag of popcorn wondering if you had been better off to just stay home and watch Netflix.
