The best ending for me should be Wen Nuan realized that the love of her best friend Zhu Linlu is deeper and more sincere than Nanzian. He never hurt her and throughout her painful past he was there comforting her, assisting her in all her ups and down. She should have given him her love and lived happily ever after and not with Nanzian that until the end loved making cruel choices for her. I hated his treatment of her and her mother. They both deserve to live a life full of pain and regrets.
