Absolutely the BEST mini-series out there on the life of Jesus and His apostles. I especially LOVE the way main (and lesser) characters are brought to life with vibrant personality, especially Jesus. You can see the apostles' dominate character traits that are evident before they were chosen evolve and develop with each new episode. You get that Jesus is REAL, approachable, lovable, "laughable", and cares deeply about each one's needs. I love the way He showed love to His mother and friends, hugging her, dancing with the wedding guests, etc. I had no problem "Paying Forward" on this. Wonderful! Can't wait 'til Season 2.
