I am unashamed of my seeing anthropomorphizing in this documentary. I am a woman.
Are some piglets special needs? They don’t quite know how to be pigs. Their siblings notice this and may pick at the loner. The mom notices his absence and looks for him in the straw and gives him special attention if he needs it. I don’t she th hat she stepped on him, as another reviewer saw, I think she missed him, found him and brought him back to nurse. Seems like some siblings bully him, because he is slow/different. The little guy had a difficult time finding his way around a downed tree.
Why do curly tailed pigs 🐷 sometimes straighten their tails?
When the truck takes the piglets away all at once, the mama seems lost and looks for them everywhere as her utter gets bigger and bigger. This seems very cruel, and she is sad.
Other farm animals (cows) may also be loners, like the brown and white cow. She doesn’t pair up for tail swishes to keep the flys away like the others do. She is alone.
