Thought-provoking. Pugh master class. Definitely a movie that will stay with me for a while and crafted carefully. Appreciated how the cinematography and score were in service of the story.

Great premiere. Laughed out loud, love the fourth wall interplay, true to the comics. Top tier compared to other shows so far.

Would be higher but for cheesy effects and bad fight choreography. I like the concept a lot—happy to see Fett as a person and the whole soft power crime lord intrigue thing could be really cool. Unfortunately I was totally underwhelmed by the fights and the creature effects, both of which detracted from the story. I can deal with Fett being old and such, but then why make him try to king fu fight? Watching a sixty year old man try fight choreography is boring. The Tuskan raiders still feel one dimensional. Not sure how Fett survived a week without water. Just…ditch the splash that didn’t work and focus on the character stuff. I will still watch, but it felt like a rough start.
