The movie says the fact that womens committed sathi not as a religious act but inorder to protect themselves from the hands of lustfilled invaders of other religions. Not only sathi a lot of so called bad acts come in to this land because of dirty invaders. Later people attributed these things to religion without seeing the root cause. This country its beliefs and life was so beautifull untill animal like invaders invaded into this holy soil.
