Great fan of the books, the third in the trilogy was a bit of a let down (a book too far?). Notwithstanding, I have read and re-read this trilogy many times, and so was looking forward to the on screen adaptation. OMG! What a let down! Utter twaddle! This should have been left alone unless/until a faithful and accurate representation could have been made. Tramples all over the original story and character depictions, The virals, which I have wondered for a long time how they would be shown on screen, are just laughable! Actors who have let their kids put make up on them is what we’ve ended up with! And don’t get me started on the colony, Peter, Aleisha, Mouse?? If you’re not going to do it properly Fox, or can’t give it the funds it needs, leave it to somebody else. Read American Gods by Neil Gaiman and then watch the series on Prime to see how it’s done!!
