I’m a big fan of comedy shows with light entertainment because I need something playing in the background while I work or eat. So I usually rewatch shows like friends, how I met your mother, or New Girl for the twentieth time. However, I came across some clips cut from Schitt’s Creek and I’m invested even before watching it. A while afterwards, I started getting into when I have more time and they put it on Netflix, and I’m in love. It’s the only show so far that made me cry and laugh and just emotional in general, and shows have never had that effect on me. Patrick and David’s relationship set the goals for what’s I’m after romantically. I think I’m fine with being alone if my relationship cannot be like that. I think it’s peculiar, unusually brilliant, and enchanting. It makes me go write this to release part of my obsession with it.
