I give it four stars because some of the acting and suspense are good. However, there are so many instances of writer's convenience that hurt this movie. The mob at the hospital? Not believable. The three individuals going into Michael's home thinking they could kill him? Not believable, especially considering one was Curtis' granddaughter. The mob trying to kill Michael and then stabbing him? Not believable especially since Curtis' daughter believed how strong he could be. Where in the heck did she think stabbing him in the back would kill him? Finally the end scene where Curtis' daughter goes into the house alone to look out of the window. First it is a crime scene and no one would be able to go upstairs (dead people were in that house). Second, why would you do that? What a weird scene. HK had the potential to be a better movie than it was. I think it ranks up there with the other Halloween movies with Jamie Lee Curtis, but definitely not the top one.
