Anyone who actually *LIKES* the Jim Carrey version of The Grinch are complete idiots! This movie is just plain awful! Carrey's work here is just not very good, the Whos themselves (aside from looking rather creepy) are bland and forgettable, the colors are too dark, and like the live action atrocity before it (The Cat in the Hat - 2003), it's full of unnecessary changes and even inappropriate scenes for children. This is easily the worst adaptation of the children's book of the same name. It you see this film, avoid it and see the late 60's and 2018 versions only.

As a kid, I used to love this movie. But, Looking at it now... It's Singlehandedly, one of the *WORST MOVIES I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!* All it had to do was stay 100% faithful to the book. This movie doesn't do that at all! The Pop Culture humor (If you can even call it "humor") is just awful, The film isn't very colorful, The characters are as interesting as burnt toast, The story is garbage, And the CG... Oh. MY GOD. It's *HORRENDOUS* . The Live action Grinch movie was better than this trash, And even _That_ movie sucks. But, The Cat in the Hat is best left forgotten altogether. If you come across this movie, what ever you do, *AVOID IT LIKE THE PLAGUE*. I suggest watching either the 2018 and 1971 Animated versions over this junk.
