I’m in love with this show, it’s helpful and amazing. I’m not a princess type teen so when I started the show I thought it was gonna be girly and just about a princess story but then as I started to watch the show and saw the representations I immediately fell in love with it.
This teaches younger kids to respect people who are apart from LGBTQ+. It also teaches kids that love is love, you can love whoever you want even if it’s the same gender as you. For someone who is apart of the LGBTQ+ this show meant a lot to me. I also love that it shows how some of the character, like Catra, redeem themselves and become a better person.
Catra was evil at the beginning and still tried to be but then she started to realize what she’s done. I love how in the episode named “Corridors” it shows how Catra is redeeming herself. She didn’t have a very good childhood at all but the only thing that made her happy was Adora. After adora left she was confused and angry. That’s why she was so obsessed with ruling Etheria. When she and Adora found their way back to each other she wasn’t the old Catra anymore. Every time Adora was sacrificing herself in season 5, Catra was scared and angry at the same time because she didn’t want to lose her again. But in the end she finally confessed her love to adora and saved everyone.
I hope in the future they make a She-ra movie because every fan wants one but also to see what happens next with the characters. I honestly am also in love with Catradora and want to see more of them. Noelle did an incredible and amazing job with this show with representation and redemption and many more. I honestly recommend for everyone to watch it. Parents you should show your kids this so they learn to respect everyone and they can teach and speak up to people who judge or just are confused. The animations 10/10 especially in season 5.
