It saved me. My dog Zoran had just tragically passed at 3. Much too young. I'd had a stroke. Life was piling itself upon itself. Then I read. Enzo became my beloved Zo. It was an incredible ending. One that elevated my grief to a normal component of life. I'm still waiting for a child to approach me... As an aside, I had no notion of this book being a best seller until I saw a commercial for the movie.
