SEASON ONE REVIEW; I loved that the series went into depth about Selena's family memebers; allowing the audience to see something new and relate to the others on a different level! If there is a next season, Christian (who plays Selena) needs to do a better job of lip syncing and dancing! It didnt feel real at all! Sorry to compare to JLO BUT when JLO lip synced, it looked as if she was actually singing and feeling the music. The dancing from Christian also needs to improve! The wigs for Selena were incredibly awful !! LOL And the green screen for the driving scenes between Suzette, Selena and Abraham were a BIG NONO! It looked so bad !! SEASON 2: Much better season!!!! There were some scenes where Christians lip syncing seemed to improve(the Techno Cumbia scene) compared to the last scene but still not THAT great. I love that they displayed real things that happened (ex/ the grammys .. in the movie, Selena mentioned chris but in real life she actually didn't OR why Selena was meeting up with Yolanda) BUT I MUST SAY... my favourite thing about the series was AB's (Selenas brother) storyline. If it wasnt for the way they decided to portrayed/tell AB in this series, I dont think I would have liked it that much.
