Worst tv show ever! poorly written, lame and annoying leading characters, boring storytelling, and story arcs very far from the amazing Tolkien lore we all love.
I find hard to process how fool you need to be to spend $1 billion on Tolkien rights and NOT USE the source material you paid for. I mean, Tolkien's universe is so vast, rich and complete, and it's already written! They needed to ADAPT but no REWRITE Middle Earth tales.
I couldn't stand finishing season one... I gave it a good chance and pushed hard finishing 5 episodes, but just couldn't stand such a waste of time and dropped out. Not watching season 2 or anything related to this current showrunners.
I'm giving it 1 star just because the production value (art department did a pretty decent job)
