I'm surprised by the critical reviews of this movie by the professionals...glad I didn't read them first before I watched it. It might have swayed my opinion. I thought the performances were great of everyone. Movies are generally entertaining and thought provoking, and this movie was definitely thought providing. People all over the country experience growing up like this, and this is hard to watch, and hard to accept. In my opinion, the take-away from the movie is you can accept your family, and support your family OR you can walk away from them, and try to live with your decision. Hopefully you accept them and try to be there as much as possible.
