I have watched Top Gear for a long, long time, I’ve laughed at most of the exploits & enjoyed the reviews regardless of presenter. However, I’m not comfortable with the assumption that taking presenters and cars to across the world for the planned escapade will be entertaining or informative. By all means go mad on a race circuit - but trips to third world countries just doesn’t sit comfortably anymore. Tonight’s show could have been filmed in a quarry in the UK. Borneo didn’t add to the episode, damaged an already besieged environment and gave those that would like to see the end of the car yet another stick to beat petrol heads with. Please think again. If such elements are really necessary to ensure worldwide sales of the programme, and therefore profit, how about considering creating two programmes, one for each audience? Oh, and Im not a tree hugging car hater - just someone that wants to see car programmes made with a bit of thought. Thanks.
