I decided to watch a movie that had an all African American (Black) cast. Many of the films I’ve watched lately have an all white cast which although talented as they may be, became boring to watch. I hit the jackpot with “The Piano Lesson”. It was everything and more than I expected it to be. In a nut shell, I loved the intensity of the actor’s sentiments, the history, the spooky thrills, and most of all the family values it brought me back to when I was a child. Thank you Mr. S.J. (Doaker) you reminded me of my dad, so calm cool and collected. God bless you for sharing that love. I will watch it a second time, because the version of the English language spoken was confusing to me. Please make more movies like this one. Que Viva mi familia morena. Proud to be a Puerto Rican American!

I was surprised at first because I wasn’t prepared for what the story was about. However, the actors were superb. Ms. Moss aka “offfred, June” stole the show. What can I say, as a woman, I identified with her. I will have to watch it over and over again. Can I play a handmaid though. I think I would do great. Been there, done that.

S1:E1: I don’t care for narration. Just do it. I like surprises.

Once there are creatures in the movie, I get totally turned off. Get to the point. Some of the reviews are extremely long. Too much design in the scenes. Stick to the, the.

It was very entertaining. A bit too violent but I still enjoyed it. Finally, I can say “You go girls”

Why didn’t the detective ask the father if he could see a picture of his son (Leo) as an adult? Detective S. did a poor job investigating.

As a mature woman I started watching this movie by myself late at night. I always pick the good ones. However, I had to stop watching it and then I picked it up the next day. I was afraid that I would have a nightmare the night before. I kept watching it but I paused it several times because I wasn’t ready to face what the outcome was going to be. Then I decided that I had to face realty and I finished watching it, but this time it was daylight. I really enjoyed the movie and the acting. It’s worth watching movies that are made by directors from other countries. They have something that American directors lack. I knew that in the end the good guy was going to survive.
