I couldn't even make it through an hour straight through on this one and when I popped into it for another part it had some ghastly scene involving Scrooge and Mrs. Cratchit. It's dark and horrible and anything they could have done truly interesting to enhance it they ignored in favor of extreme situations and social commentary that made Scrooge seem beyond redemption indeed. I will stick with with the Alastair Sim version.
