Great writing and solid character development. A first rate, complex political thriller that never spoon- feeds the details or insults the viewer's intelligence.

Terrific plot, great writing. Finally a well crafted intelligent movie that keeps you guessing from beginning to end. John Lecarre couldn't have topped it.

I have enjoyed Wes Andersons projects very much in the past. But try as I might to hang in there, this production was just plain tedious. Its one thing to be quirky and avant guarde, but I felt that with this one, Anderson just " dialed it in". Nothing new, and, frankly, nothing very interesting. A random assemblage of droll stories complete with cross- sectioned buildings and prop planes, some obligatory underage sex and a cast of the usual suspects. I turned it off with 30 minutes left to go.
