Outside of the performance issues, this is absolutely 100% the best Pokemon game in the 3D era. The story is great, the new designs are cute and Paldea is expansive and well endowed with plenty to do and many interesting locations to explore. The music is stellar, Pokemon just seems to one-up itself every year with the quality of music.
Personally I'd wait for more patches, as some of the issues and bugs here are plainly unacceptable, but I have faith in Game Freak to correct their mistakes.
