One of the least sweet rom-com. I mean the male lead albeit a studious type but is ignorant to the point of exasperation. While XingFei portrayed her role well I think the overall script could’ve done much better. It’s honestly quite exasperating to watch. The leads don’t even progress in their relationships. Forever in the initial stage of shyness of holding hands. At least for the supporting cast, one can see their relationship progressing. And with the main actor Gu Weiyi, his immaturity astounds me. Spend a month’s allowance on a meal so that Situ Mo’s friends won’t think he’s stingy. If not for the fact that I like XingFei as the lead actress, I would’ve stopped the pain. Honestly quite misled by the comments that it’s a good series.
