Objectively bad movie. Having said that, anything that does THIS bad deserves a watch just to laugh at it. Ive read that this movie was filmed during covid and clips were sent to the director to splice together, so theres a MASSIVE lack of chemistry between the actors, the entire movie is shot from the pov of ice cubes webcam or other peoples phones and somehow random traffic cams across the nation. It almost seems like they were trying to do a found footage film. The plot is absolutely ludicrous. The antagonist is somehow not the aliens. At one point they offer a homeless man 1000$ in amazon gift cards (over a text message) to risk his life to flip over a drone because they had to order a flash drive to a government building and it crashes but is still operable. Amazon clearly sponsored this movie. Ice cube wasnt even acting, he was just being himself and dryly reading the script. The twists are not surprising and sort of just happen. The editing is nauseating with tons of artificial camera shake and inconsistent digital artifact. It looks like a couple of freshmen college students were told to make a movie and were given a medium sized budget. Its a fundamentally ridiculous movie. With that said i had fun laughing at it and i think you should watch it too so we both can suffer.

I liked the part at the end but the rest was incredibly boring and the entire movie dragged. I could leave a longer review but honestly don't waste your time watching this. It doesn't offer any new take on mental health, it's the most dull take on it you could possibly imagine.

Its just such a good show. No dialogue, which only adds to how much the behaviors and gestures say.
