Plot is unintelligible. Why exactly do they care about the kid so much ? The last 30 min is like an episode of the A Team - truck chases and explosions None of the charm of the first movie. The banter between the brothers is the only saving note.

Quite a twist. Compelling stuff

Too many ideas. It’s like they spent 100 million on the production design but wrote the script on the way to the set. The plot isn’t strong enough to keep moving forward so we constantly get flashbacks and lush atmospheric shots. It mixes great ideas from Bladerunner, Apocalypse Now, Platoon yet has none of the emotional connection of any of them.

Great cast and quite entertaining but time and again I’m left puzzled by the tone and legal aspect of the show. I still don’t understand what evidence was the basis for a simulators raid and search warrant of the suspects homes. At that point they hadn’t even established any crime had been committed I mean is the prosecution really wondering what piece of evidence proves murder during the trial ? The investigating team seem to get very emotional about the smallest of discoveries - one would think a serious crime detective would be fairly numb to all but the most horrific crimes yet here a detective get teary eyed recounting how the victim was fed toast and tea as part of the crime. I get they’re trying to create emotional drama but audiences are somewhat familiar with the realities of a murder investigation

Felt like I was watching a high school drama about a love triangle. The main characters are made ridiculous by the silly jealousy side story. The main interesting plot is given a backseat. It’s like the filmmakers didn’t trust it to entertain. The worst bit is the lack of respect for the audience. Time and again they insert lines into the script to repeat what you just heard since you’re too dumb to understand. “So the letter was opened” “Which means it was read”

Gee enough with the “it’s too dark”and “it’s different from the book” comments. For me the first episode was cliched and frankly boring. The “is this real or not” factor really undermined the plot since you’re never sure if what you’re looking at is a dream or hallucination. The “they’re covering it all up” plot is soooo cliche and leaves huge plot holes. Like why would anyone care what some seal team member knows ? In the navy survey dozens of people plan and know about every action or mission. Too annoying to be engaging

Feels like a cheap B team take on Bond. Location seems to be stuck on the one Florida island - set plane action sequences are cheaply done. Planes seem to be thousands of feet in the air seconds after yay above the sea level and then back down again seconds later. License to kill? Yeah kill the Bond franchise

Interesting premise but gets lost half way through

A mess of a movie. Like watching the plot of 3 movies crammed into one. There’s no space to rest and take in any emotion. I don’t care for any of the new characters so we’re treated to literally all the old characters just to wrangle some emotion out of the plot. The plot is full of holes and head scratching logic - like (spoilers) why did they grab Chewie and not the others. What’s with force projection. Who made all the death destroyer ships. Who made that knife and when and know where to stand to use it ? Why would she want to join the emperor palpatine at the end ? Who were all the guys at the end in cloaks? How did palpatine survive ? Did he? Or a clone of the old one ?
