This might be one of my favorite games of all time, definitely top 3. There are two things that stand out most to me. First, this is definitely a way to immerse someone in a historical setting, there is so much rich history built into this game. All of the lore stones and scenery and cut scenes. Second, this game is not only physically immersive, but psychologically immersive as well. A player is wrapped up in the story of Senua and her journey and given a deep insight into her mind and a gradually revealed backstory. I don't want to give away spoilers, just trust me when I say the thoughts that went through my head as I played caused me to feel like I was along for her mental trails. Definitely time well spent.
