This was a memorable movie from my childhood and it still makes me cry now. I want to not like Billy because he drinks too much and spends money recklessly, yet I can’t help but to root for him. TJ aka Ricky Schroeder is a delight to watch. He overacts slightly but his charm is undeniable. It is a movie that stands the test of time.

Only got a star out of respect for the old time actors. Unfortunately they were either dumbed down or it was just a bad script but that was a bit over three hours of my life I’ll never get back.
