Sreenivasan‘s screenplay is genius. Dialogues of this movie evolved to idioms in malayalam over time. In fact malayaalees of various generations keep quoting the dialogues still in 2025. Cast, acting, story and direction all were classic. It really became a legend.

Surprised to see why so many people rated low. Luckily I didn’t drop the decision to watch the movie, seeing the rating. It is a decent one time watch. Loved how Arjun Ashokan, Samyuktha and Irshad carried their characters. Liked the twists and climax.

I liked Ashique Abu’s segment, Rani very much! Felt like Nedumudi played the role of serpent in Adam and Eve story. His make up, mannerisms after bowel movement, and the kind of hidden justification for need for money makes the story quite interesting! In fact all the actors were at their finest! It’s great that Malayalam film makers are venturing to discuss sex, for it was limited to rape scenes and exploitation in 70s and early 80s and pure awkwardness in the later decades.
