As a child I loved that story. I was a happy child with a happy family. There are many versions. When my mom first told me I wished I was Goldilocks so I could meet and talk to the bears. I would fantasize that I met the bears and we would have fun together and that we would talk to each other. The brain of a child fills in blanks in a story and puts there own desires or feelings into the story of sadness, happiness. They choose which they want and in their minds how the story should go not always how it does go. Interestingly I became a social worker and I viewed the world as it could be and should be, not as it is. I think now days people read to much into fun story's. Can't analyze them and pick them apart, just have fun with them and keep them simple. I also am a hunter. I have hunted bears. When in the forest for 6 weeks of hunting I make up story's while I"m in my stand about deer and bear that can talk and are friendly to me in the story and then go home and write it down and at times have sent them to my nieces for enjoyment. Happy ending!
