This was a Ranbir Kpoor show all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! From the first frame he is in ..he demands your attention and till the time when movie ends you feel his journey his emotions his pain his love. He deserved National Award for his performance hands down. Apart from him , piyush mishra and kumud mishra lends stupendous support. Songs are superb too A.R Rehman again shows his mettle. Ending of this film may feel a little abrupt to lot of audiences , but that can be igonred if you have such great performances , songs , story line and cinematography in front of you Imtiyaz Ali's best work till data accordig to me.

Comedy at its very best. Legendary actors came together to make this a wonderful watch.Outstanding situational comedy , hilarious dialogues written by non other than Kadar Khan himself and superb songs. Highlight of the movie was the chemistry between Govinda and Kadar Khan. To the point comic timing and boy what dialogue deliveries by these two. Shakti kapoor in his one of the best roles till date nailed it as mamaji. Legendary Sadashiv Amrapurkar also stepped in with a tremendous performance. All in all a complete family entertainer and treat for the eyes and ears... Some of the dialogues that stood out for me were : Shakti kapoor - "Jijaji aap bhi unke paas chale jaiye ho sakta hai aapko bhi ek chota mota desh khareed ke de de" Sadashiv Amrapurkar - "Humare kuwar saab ka to 101 acre ka sirf ek bathroom hai" Kadar khan - ''Ye bangla hai ki bangal hai"

Smart dialogues , good story line , superb screen play and some fantastic performances make this movie a superb watch. Initially it would appear that this movie belongs to aftab , fardeen and saif ali khan ..and it is to an extent ..but but but..wait till the real hero of this movie enters the screen after several minutes..and boy ..he sweeps away all the moments of the film in each and every frame he is in. This is out and out jonny lever venture ..and as aslam bhai he nails it..what expressions what dialogue delivery ..what screen presence he has . .i would rate this performance of his amongst his top 5. Songs by vishal bhardwaj helps big time..title song , rama rama and aslam bhaii song stands out for me.. Dont miss this one...i watched it again after so many years and still looks so refreshing ..
