Hopeless remake of Italian original which used the counterpoint of divergent political ideologies as a cinematic entertaining basis for a battle of the classes.This attempt fails on all levels and is the work of a clearly deluded production team.Script lacks authenticity and characterisations are uninteresting.Acting is unconvincing,particularly in respect of the lead female whose range consists solely of either dead behind the eyes fixed or gaze and jaw/chin jutting petulence.One to miss at all costs.In reality no stars awarded.

Hard to swallow a documentary with such a blatantly Disneyfied narrative arc.Also slightly creepy that the human subject anthropomorphises the "relationship" he sets within an immediately male/female dynamic which by the conclusion has become heteronormative.Very interested in what physical strategies he employed to attract the creature to make such close physical contact.Desperate obsessive men will resort to desperate measures to achieve fame and revenue.Did not sit comfortably.Wonder what Jacques Cousteau would have made of this dude.

Uses all the best dramatic writing devices to drive a fast moving and witty backstory to the traditionally 2D villainess.Stunning fashion nods to Westwood,McQueen et al make it visually captivating.All performances by child,adult and canine actors are irresistably played with an entrancing touch combining intensity with lightness.Underscored by a phenomenally wellmatched and intelligent soundtrack.This film deserves to become a classic.
