On the fence with this one. I really liked the acting and costumes art direction. The story line made it as fun as possible yes a little soapy. Season 4 was actually my favorite as it had some good battle stuff and devious bishops. What Id really like to see is young Mary in her own miniseries after this. I loved the actor and her steely resolve. Id love to see her take things 10 steps farther in her own series lol.

Im actually really enjoying the series…i just dont understand though why invest so much money into a story that is less interesting than the real thing? The scting dialogue costumes details are all there….i dont get it.

Im really sorry guys yes this one of my more favored franchises of late but this latest installment is really clunky. It DID have some great comedy which is really why I like this series...it just didnt have the whole shebang like the 1st one.

Man I gotta say after going through bouts of is this the best show on TV? Season 4 starts to dip and then season 5 just gets ridiculous. Hate is a strong word and their are the comforts of watching characters you know, but really. They need to wrap it up and quick. that fight scene with the activist and the Dutton girl made me want to turn it off.

No where even close to the other two series. The 1883 series was poetic and nuanced. This is just drivel and from the first episode and the wretched CGI I knew they were cutting corners. The only thing Im finding realistic is the treatment of the young NA girls and the Catholic abusers. Also Im sorry you dont like the truth about this "cult" which I will call it. Quit defending the monsters that makeup this sect of Christianity. But back to the show, I hope it pulls it together and fast because it is getting cheesier and cheesier as it goes.

I love this movie-its one of the best sci fi movies ever made.

It's just so hard to watch a documentary on my favorite band and not know basically everything. I did get a few chuckles and a couple of new revelations however. I love how Andy Warhol ultimately called Lou Reed, "a rat."

Pretty accurate portrayal of the scene back then, God bless the freaks!!!!!!!!
