Well for starters yasuke is not the main character in this show 😅 as i see it it's that little girl saki since the story is mostly based on how powerful she is and she even told yasuke she didn't need help from him😂. I thought I was gonna see how they were gonna explore the concept of how the African born man became a samurai like how did he adjust to the Japanese culture did he actually learn Japanese in order to commute with his fellow warriors and master i know he was already a slave but how did he tolerate the constant racism and fear from people who had never in there lives seen a blackman, the journey was the most important aspect of this story but nope. The writers had to put in giant mecha robots and telekinesis and werewolves who are russians for some reason 😂🤦🏾♂️ im not making this up😂 and that's not even the worst part there is another black man in the show who is a messecnary or something 😂 but why do that why add another black man to a story about the only black man in japan it just doesn't make any sense🤦🏾♂️. I'm writing this while I'm still 4 episodes into the show and i am fed up with it it's like the writers all had different ideas on how to make this anime and decided to just merge all their ideas into one show it's just terrible. For anyone reading this if you just want to see giant mechas in edo era japan i recommend that you watch it but for those who we're invested on the historical background of the material please don't bother watching this.
