All cartoons are similar, parents let their children watch it because of things that are references to stuff they know like movies and video games. This doesn't have any so adults will say stuff like it's dumb and just silly but your forgetting this is meant for kids not adults and they enjoy this, you had tv when you were a child and your parents would say the exact same thing.
