Absolutely fantastic game. Wonderful character design Wonderful level design, gameplay-wise and visually Amazingly gorgeous music Lighthearted attitude Challenging, fun, simple combat Excellent attention to detail. Haven't loved a game this much since Hollow Knight. I hope they do a sequel, I wish it was longer.

No other game out there will make you feel like as much like a badass battlemage than this. So many spells to choose from, so many combos to create for yourself. Finding your favorite build is a ton of fun. This is a must play

The game gives you a lot of different weapons to use from and unique enemies that encourage you to use as many techniques as you can. It can often be truly a matter of thinking your way out of trouble. You get to decide which weapons are best to use in a situation. I have not ever played a game before that rewards this kind of on-your-feet thinking in such a way. Most games allow you to pretty much use the primary weapon the whole time and you can use the others if you want to. Horizon actively encourages experimentation to find the best solution. Add that on to a beautiful looking world, cool enemy design, and an interesting story, and you have one of the best games of the PS4 era.
