lol it’s is the most ironic thing ever that same ppl who say we are too sensitive about slavery and Jim Crow and lynching an redlining and war on drugs can’t handle a two hour movie where white ppl are the bad guys. Lol bear in mind that while Britain was victims in blitz and they carried themselves with bravery, the world in which they existed was one where they occupied every black and brown country in their hemisphere. France and Great Britain did in black and brown countries what Germany was doing to all countries including white countries. What made Germany unique was not its imperialism—as they all did it. This show is amazing. The story line is tightly written and interwoven with history. It’s followed up with good acting, nice action scenes and a little humor. To top it off, it manages to touch on the difficult geopolitical issues in Africa while highlighting the individual complex struggle of a spy trying to get over the assassination of her freedom fighting mother. It makes Africa and Africans look good, look messy, look complex but most of all, look human. Queen Sono is a good Netflix show
