The most horrendous movie I’ve ever seen. Half of the movie is spent moaning and groaning, and the other half is spent getting brutally attacked by alligators. Only near the end did the protagonists decide to escape the flooded basement. This movie also had the most unrealistic scenes, like the dad being attacked by alligators numerous times and still surviving on broken limbs that miraculously healed within a few minutes. The suspense and thrill of this movie relied HEAVILY on jump scares and music cues. The character development was also not present in this film, all we know about this family is that the dad and mother had a strange feud and the main protagonist was a swimmer, that apparently could hold her breath for ten minutes. The mom was not present in this film, even though she was one of the most mentioned characters. This movie had every opportunity to be successful and a masterpiece, however, instead we all got a borderline porno with unrealistically gigantic alligators. Do not watch this film and do not waste your money on it. It’s not worth your time
