terrible, removed all the good parts from the book and even replaced some amazing books parts with CGI horror which is garbage. they even deleted the history of derry and the friendship of the characters also, there is no mystery to this film it is just set scenes where 1 kid meets a clown the they all meet him unlike in the book when multiple kids hear from pennywise. lastly, the movie has tried to hard on the clown aspect because in the book pennywise can shapeshift but the movie got rid of that too. Furthermore, the amazing sinister jet black spider was changed to be another clown.
