William Murin

While a bit slow at the beggining much like the book, the show has been excellent and has even brought back memories I had forgotten from the book. Rand is a bit short for the Ailman hes supposed to represent is a head taller then Matt and Perrin in the book and is supposed to be of a darker skin tone but overall the casting is great with good acting. The books were huge and at the rate the episodes are progressing it will take a good 3 seasons or more just to get through the first book. With 14 books in the series I can only think these actors will be geriatric if possible to even get through the whole series. Overall though I have been pleased with the series and how faithfully they are adapting it. I missed so much sleep reading these books when I was young and just watching the show has reignited that excitement and I cant wait for the next episode.

So far I've enjoyed this series. It has a good story so far without the subtle jabs vilifying certain people or the insane ideology manipulating the rest that has been entertwined with everything for the last few years. This has been a breathe of fresh air so far. It's just about an insane person with supernatural abilities. Something we can all relate to...

The story is poorly written with many plotholes. The characters from the first game do not behave as they should or did from the first game in order to vilify them. And once again 2 one hundred pound women are physically able to take down enemies more than double there strength and size on a regular bases. There is just too much ideological pandering in this game that it starts to feel more like propaganda than anything resembling an actual story.

As a whole a triumph, following the main plot of the books while brilliantly adding depth to some characters and reflecting on there vague memories and events leading up to the first book and thereafter. Very well written. Geralt and Ciri were fantastic and well acted and left me as a fan of the books knowing what to expect for the next season. Where they left off the wild hunt is soon to follow. I can't wait.
