Basically, interesting plot meets poor writing and bad direction. Took me several episodes to catch on but then I got it. It's a show controlled by producers who know how to stage the elements of a story among a series' episodes so that you keep watching even if it's drivel. I.E. strategic positioning of the cliffhangers and smidgens of suspense. They get 2 stars instead of one because it took me into episode 5 to realize what a joke it was. Other than that, don't bother getting hooked, it's all sucrose, no complex carbs!
