They had something good and they ruined it with a generic happy ending. I enjoyed it a lot but they don't deserve to be rewarded for playing it safe

It's just about unanimous: this is a brilliant game and you should play it urgently

It's not terrible but it's not excellent. I find reviews that are too good or too bad exaggerate, it's alright. Lots of good points esp at the beginning of the campaign but went downhill sharply in act two, they did a lot to bring it back in Acts 3 & 4 but the damage was already done. Don't feel pressured to buy it, you can live without playing this game.

They nailed this game, they really did, but I can't give it more than 8/10 because as great as it is, it is not in the golden circle where you find the best games of all time, it wasn't ambitious enough for that. For a superhero game however it's head and shoulders above the rest. The forced stealth sections are my biggest gripe with this game, and also the fact that it was easy too easy. I chose the hardest mode and I still cut through it. The ultimate mode comes after you finish the first playthrough, which it a bit silly... Not sure about you but I sure as hell am not playing one game twice in succession when the gaming curriculum is already so packed

I would give it a solid "so-so". The story is compelling enough but it takes too long to get underway, the combat is okay but it gets very simplistic and boring after a short amount of time, the controls are a bit numb, Aloy's character development is a bit flat. The graphics are beautiful but the animation is janky esp the faces by God. I have a lot of reservations but it's good for one playthrough. I won't be playing it again but I don't regret buying it

I bought the PlayStation 4 Pro for this game and I'm so glad I did. This is the best game I've ever played in my life. An experience well worth the money

I would strongly recommend this game. I love this franchise and I can't bear to see what the television series has become. This game is full of characters you love and love to hate, difficult situations being thrown at you, ethical conundrums, and heartbreaking consequences. Sometimes they elaborate on choices you make that aren't in keeping with the spirit in which you meant them. That's my only gripe.
