If seen with a not too analytical mind then the movie is likely to hit a 7 over 10. But the analytical mind is sure to identify a few flaws.
I commend the fact that it was a deviation from the norm, that was good stuff but the build up too a little too much time. From the very beginning I had questions piling:
In a world where you can die with noise around you why would a 4 year old be running loose? I mean why? Suppose he hits a cup while running, suppose he sees a rat or roach, forgets himself and screams?
Why oh why would parents walk in front and expect a 4 year old to bring up the rear even in today's "noise-free" environment not to mention a deadly one?
why hadn't the family adapted more like gathering arms?
why no proper means of communication?
why no designated hiding spots?
why the need for another child?
why did the father leave the gun and run out to seek the children with only a torch?
why did she wait so long to take the first shot?
They lived like they were setting up to die not setting up to survive.
But the movie would give wifey a good scare though!
