Phoenix “Musō-ka” Prime

Hands down, Transformers One is not only the best Transformers movie ever - it is one of the BEST animated films I've seen in a very long time!! The animation is spectacular, the humor is on point, the story is solid, and the voice-acting is absolute perfection. The chemistry between Orion Pax and D-16 felt realistic, and B-127 (Bumblebee) was hilarious in his own goofy way. I talked one of my BFFs into seeing the movie, and when I told her Transformers One was up there with "Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse" (which it is!), she was sold in a heartbeat! Now I've got to get my brother to watch it. :D SOLID 9.5 out of 10!!!!!!

Honestly, I don't get what's up with all the 1-star reviews, because this movie's hilarious! I'm a fan of Wes Anderson's work, and Asteroid City just had "Wes Anderson" written all over it, in an artistic and funny way. Admittedly, I need to read an online synopsis so that I can get a better understanding of certain things that happened in the plot -- but this is the kind of movie I'd gladly watch again!

I LOVED this movie -- and I won't lie when I say a couple scenes brought tears to my eyes! This movie was a lot of fun, filled with action and great character chemistry, and I especially loved the depictions of the Maximals from the Beast Wars cartoons. While the movie had a few flaws, I still found it very enjoyable, and I'd gladly go watch it again! Solid 8 out of 10 for this one!

WOW, this movie was a trip down memory lane! I grew up watching the original film, and I finally - FINALLY! - got to see this new remake (and with my parents, too)! This movie's magical and a lot of fun, and if you loved the original 1989 classic, I GUARANTEE you'll love this remake! Halle Bailey and Melissa McCarthy KILLED it as Ariel and Ursula; Sebastian, Flounder, and Scuttle were hilarious, and Floatsam and Jetsam - even though they didn't have any lines - were even more intimidating than ever! I was grinning ear to ear the whole time I was watching the film, and I'm already thinking about seeing it a second time! HUGE thank you to Rob Marshall and co. for bringing this childhood treasure to life!!!!

I only saw a few snippets of it -- and the parts I saw were god-awful and cringey, to say the least. I'll just stick to the Barbie version of the story!

Finally got to watch this movie a few nights ago, and I was amazed. This movie is SPECTACULAR! I definitely won't look at the Joker the same way again, that's for sure.

It's... an okay movie. Definitely feels rushed, like there were a bunch of scenes and critical moments that didn't make it into the final cut. My brother was laughing at the absurdity of some scenes, and some of the dialogue we heard had us both shaking heads with equal amusement and disappointment. Decided to give this movie 3 stars because I've seen movies that were way worse than this one.

Final (spoiler-free) thoughts on the show: Is it perfect? No. Is the plot a little messy? Yes. But is it overall enjoyable, filled with familiar faces and ca few crazy fights? Absolutely! I give it an 8 out of 10.

I bought two tickets for myself and my boyfriend as an early Christmas present for him, and we just came back from seeing the early screening of the movie. I'm still mindblown and at a loss for words. This movie made our ENTIRE YEAR!!!!
