While the case starts out interesting, this series takes the pace of a snail yet still leaves so many questions unanswered or minimized. It is all over the place and incoherent. (I stopped watching around episode 4 or 5, the court verdict, because I could not stand the main characters anymore- being so unintelligent and/or naive.) Even after I read through the recaps, I was left with disgust at our so-called "justice" system. Pathetic and depressing.

The plot starts off intriguing, and the cinematography is great. But the script takes an unrealistic turn where there is a pointless murder, all because of a “threat.” Illogical to kill an innocent person. Mayhem ensues, and then another character does the same thing. Poor writing. I was duped because I had hoped it would be as good as the show Damages. Not even close.

Other than being a bit long, this was a pretty good story. I was moved by the racial and homeless vulnerabilities exposed. Also Greg Kinnear is always amazingly believable.

Worst mel gibson movie ever. Same thing throughout the entire film. No story no script just torture on repeat. Waste of time.

Frustrating to watch because not only does the main character do a lot of dumb things but the violent torture is just continuous suffering. Not enough story or plot.

Lame story. The protagonist jumps to conclusions rather than communicate with her coworkers. AND it is an hour or longer than it needed to be. What a waste.

Very slow and uneventful. I couldn’t even finish it.
