Please go see this movie! And when you do, put Politics aside and just enjoy yourself! Movies are for fun, and everyone is really just reading too much into everything. Visuals, acting, music. It was all really well done. Acting was not terrible or “stale” as I have been seeing a lot. I’ll start by saying I’m a looooong time comic reader and superfan. Captain Marvel and her bff Spider-Woman being my two favorite characters. The movie was everything I thought it would be and more. Carol is a character who will fight to the end, never take no for an answer, and will never let anyone stand in her way. Larson upheld these qualities of Carol and it showed. Stoic and stern when she needs to be, but can crack jokes and be a friend. Everyone hated Black Widow when she first appeared, and the same for Scarlet Witch. Characters need time to develop, but everyone just wants to hate Larson for sticking to her character and not hiding the truth. Soon enough everyone is going to love Captain Marvel as they do the other characters.
